Accidental Night

So in true Terri style... I managed to have an accident on Tuesday night playing netball.

Yes... netball.

(this... but clutching my head instead...)

This 'non-contact' sport led me to fall arse over tit and hit my Wong head on the concrete... nice!  I was taken in an Ambulance with the big bump on my head, along with plenty of tears & snot to the A&E at Paddington.  It was my first time in an Ambulance! Freya & Jules stayed with me & came to the hospital too... they were great as they made the hours go by quick entertaining me - thank you!!!  4 hours later I was finally seen and was sent home in 2 minutes (?!).  Shawn came to see me and pick me up & looked after me that night ♥

Thank god I didn't crack my head open and it's nothing serious.  It would've been awful if the doctors had to shave my new hair off on one side to stitch me up... I'll settle for bit of concussion, a big bruise on my head, whiplash on me neck, and my ass hurting lol.  Now I just need my head to 'equilibrate' as the doctor said.  Also I've lost my appetite... even better as I get to lose a bit of weight too!

I think I'll be just a lil bit scared to get back on the court next week in case I get barged & bump my head again... buttttt my love for the game is far greater than that so I'll continue to play & score some more goals!

Vajazzling!

"The act of applying glitter and jewels to a woman's nether regions for aesthetic purposes."

Like me, if you've not heard about this before your initial reaction would probably be - WTH.  (Shout out to my beloved friend Allex who suggested I this topic).

Something that orginated from across the pond in the land of opportunity... Salons are not only making your nails look pretty, giving you the perfect spray tan or keeping your hair-free with waxing... they've gone one step further and are offering the chance to bejewel your privates with crystals (or "adding jewels to your va-jay-jay" in the words of Jennifer Love Hewitt on the George Lopez show)!  These beauties are stuck on with adhesive glue & lasts up to 3 days.  You can also get DIY ones where you can apply it yourself.

Jennifer Love Hewitt - named the woman behind it all.

An example...

Imagine the conversations with your friends... "How was your weekend?" "Oh it was quite eventful... I got my down below vajazzled!".

Personally, the idea of having glitz & glam down there is all a bit too much... seems a lot of effort for 3 days?  And you'd have to be awfully 'hairless' down their otherwise that would just be er... gross!

So, what do you think about the act of vajazzling? Would you dazzle your 'vaj'?

God only knows what they'll come up with next.

p.s. hope you like my post Allex!

The Chop!!

I did it!  I finally got the hair chopped off!!! I've NEVER had my hair this short EVER before so it was a shock when the hairdresser hacked off 8 inches of my precious locks.

So here's the new me!

Er. bit messy at the back sorry..

Calling all short hair beauties... what can we do with such short hair?! I realised that I can't even tie my hair up when I'm gonna be playing me netball eek!  Any tips on what to do with it would be awesomeee!

So there we have it!!

Going Nude Sky High

So I went to a Black Tie affiliate event with work recently and it was held at Altitude 360 in Millbank, London. it was an AWEEEEESOME location.  We had a sit down meal on the 29th floor and the view was absolutely incredible.  I've been on the London Eye before but to actually sit down and eat with the London backdrop behind, it was breathtaking.  The Arcadia table had the best view (naturally)... and from our table we could see Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, London Eye, and the city in the back.

Dress: Vero Moda, ASOS
Hair: loose curls with flat iron.

They had this really cool photobooth and we took some silly pix with Maxine from Miss S & Kim from Evans ♥

Step Up!

Can't believe it's been months since my last post! *Slaps own hand*.  I've had so many problems with my laptop that it takes me hours and hours to put a post together that I end up giving up (I'll be getting a new netbook soon - so I'll be flying again yeh-yeh.)

I've been looking for quite a while now for some flat brogues.  It's been fairly difficult to find a pair I really like... they're either too manly or the quality is not really here so it's about finding the right balance.  I've had another look online today and here are a 'shortlist' of ones I'm considering...

New Look Cedar Lace Up Brogues £16 >>
These are cute mink coloured brogues from New Look & will go great with dresses.
At 16 squid - they're a bargain!

Leather Buckle Brogue £30
Leather Buckle Brogues £30 >>
These are also from New Look... they're different to the usual lace ups... I'm intrigued but would definitely need to try it to see how it looks.

Bronx Open Lace Brogues £54.99
Bronx Open Lace Brogues £54.99 >>
These are from Schuh and are by far my favourite so far in my search.  Recommended by my flatmate, these are soooo nice - brogues with a clear feminine touch with the slighly pointed toe & lace cut out.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Tan Floral Brogue £35
Miss Selfridge Tan Floral Brogue £35

These babies are from Miss S.  I love the colour and the floral pattern on them! Will definitely go and try these on.  Plus with my discount - it's affordable :)

River Island Brown Lace Up Brogues £49.99 >>

Black Lace Up Brogues £25

Dorothy Perkins Black Lace Up Brogues £25

I also saw a pair in Kurt Geiger but cannot find it on their website so cannot post it on here but they're really nice... they're grey and are at £120! Can't really bring myself to spending that much on a pair of brogues... especially now I'm thinking I need to get a new laptop!!

So there we have it... I'll be popping to the Oxford Street tonight.  I'll post my purchase on here soon so watch this space!
